Da Paws Place

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

Answer. When you turn into the drive way the arena is on your left.  The lights on the building will turn on as you drive down the driveway.  Turn iinto the parking lot after the fat sedge grass plant.  There is parking for at least 14 vehicles. Please do not park in front of the overhead door.  Please stay on the gravel; the clay is too soft to park on.   There is additional parking in our overflow area; we will direct you to that parking after you unload at the arena.

Where do I go after I park?

Answer. Come into the office (next to the ADA parking space), register or sign-in, then we will open up the private door or overhead to bring in crates depending on the size.

Does my dog need to be on lease?

Answer. Yes, for the safety of all dogs, humans and the wild life that will lure them away, please keep your dog on leash at all times.  Currently, we have an injured yearling hanging about. We have deer & eagles and an occasional coyote goes through.

Where do I pottie my dog?

Answer. Currently there is no designated area. Any location around the pottie bag dispenser and trash-can will do. Hint: Pick up your poop. The lights provide some light and flashlights will be made available during evening hours.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

Answer. Here are your choices, either have the vaccinations that you feel comfortable with or understand that your dog may contract a disease from the wildlife they encounter or from any other dog that also chooses not to be immunized.

Can anybody rent the arena?

Answer. New renters need to be approved by their instructor or have a preliminary lesson with Chris prior to renting.
